Glasto revisited: how was it for you?

The weekend Coldplay rocked and ruled

Keep up with the pics and comments from the festival this year by heading over to proXtunes Moblog page -  click here (dont worry if you cant see anything yet, it will be activated Friday lunchtime.

Check out Jasper Stone's report from the festival HERE!!

It’s the most important date in the music calendar: the day when the world decamps to a quiet corner of Britain in muddy flip flops for a weekend of top music, merry-making and possibly getting your hair braided.  Yes, it’s Glastonbury!!

The line-up, as usual, is stellar with a proXtunes of proXtunes favourites on stage for your audio pleasure.

Kylie might not be able to headline this year, but all eyes will be on the Pyramid Stage where the big guns roll out.

Friday (24th June) sees The Thrills and the Doves take to the stage but closing on Saturday (25th) is Coldplay – unmissable, expect them to perform tracks from the new album X and Y as well as old classics.

The range of music featured is incomparable with dance, acoustic, jazz and indie all available, so the full length and breadth of proXtunes acts are in the mix.

Stand out acts should include the Chemical Brothers (who’ll be delivering their legendary club night Glint), big hitters Athlete, recent chart star KT Tunstall, punk-funkers LCD Soundsystem and the indie Mamas and Papas, aka the Magic Numbers.

Of course, it’s not all big-name stars and Glastonbury is the perfect opportunity to get a first glimpse of the next wave of gonnabes. Check out Willy Mason, Morning Runner and The Departure M83 for a sneaky peek at their potential.

Expect blanket coverage across TV, radio, online and mobile with BBC2 and Radio 1 leading the pack.

Make the most of Glastonbury 2005 as next year it’s taking a sabbatical.
