Preoceed from 'Sippiana Hericane' to go to hurricane victims
Backed by four piece band The Lower 911, the mini-album features a version of the Bobby Charles song ‘Clean Water’ plus a brand new 4-part piece entitled ‘Wade: Hurricane Suite’ and a new reworked version of the song ‘Sweet Home New Orleans’.
Sippiana Hericane is Dr.John’s response to the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina and all proceeds to go to the New Orleans Musicians Clinic, the Jazz Foundation of America and The Voice of the Wetlands.
